Zule
Zule lived in the artist’s quarter, “Caminito”
in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the 1920’s. There she was inspired
by Kinkila Martin, the city’s most famous artist of the time.
Her flowing pastels and bold paintings usually have female subjects
with men playing a somewhat smaller, yet chivalric role.
Zule moved to Israel in 1962 with her family and continues to live
there, exploring memories of childhood and the magic of “Caminito”
in her paintings.
